Nick Hassell has over 20 years of experience as a therapist and personal trainer in Houston, Texas. He has served as Head Therapist for the U.S. Men’s Clay Court Championship and has been part of the ATP Medical Team since 2009. Since 2005, Nick has also consulted with Memorial Hermann for therapy and sports events, mentored trainers and therapists since 2006, worked with multiple collegiate athletic programs, and spoken for the Medical Fitness Association. From 2020–2022, he managed the training and therapy departments at a Life Time Diamond-level club.
Over the course of his career, Nick combined his extensive background in assessment, biomechanics, corrective exercise, and soft-tissue therapy to develop his own integrated system — The Genesis Method — a comprehensive approach to identifying, correcting, and optimizing human movement and performance.
Nick is currently the only Ortho-Kinetics Specialist Trainer and Therapist in Houston. He holds a therapy license in Texas, as well as personal training certifications through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) and the Cooper Institute, plus a Fitness Nutrition Specialist credential from NASM. His extensive education and certifications encompass advanced assessment, biomechanics, and exercise programming, along with soft-tissue modalities such as muscle activation and release, trigger point therapy, joint mobilization and stem cell activation.
